Seasonal semester system is intended to afford a chance to earn necessary additional credits during the summer and/or winter vacation to undergraduates who need to take a course other than in regular semesters, who expect early graduation,
or who have declared a double major/minor.
As a rule, some of the courses opened in the regular semester are opened in the summer or winter session. However, if the number of registered students is less than the given limit, the course may be discontinued (canceled).

ㆍCourse registration : summer session in May; winter session in November

Undergraduates and part-time students who has been enrolled in the immediately previous regular semester.

- within 6 credits per seasonal semester (summer or winter session)
Regular undergraduates : can earn not more than six (6) credits per seasonal semester (in a summer or winter session). At this time, note that twenty-four (24) credits should not be exceeded per semester including the number of credits earned in the regular semester pursuant to the Guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

For seasonal semesters, all kinds of scholarship benefits are inapplicable.

It is allowed to cancel initially registered course(s) owing to unavoidable circumstance encountered after a seasonal semester is opened, only when three fourths or less (earlier) of the number of school days given has passed. In this case, two thirds of the paid tuition fees will be returned.

Part-time students enrolled in the immediately previous regular semester : Nine (9) credits per semester should not be exceeded including those earned in the immediately previous regular semester and seasonal semester.


It is allowed to cancel initially registered course(s) owing to unavoidable circumstance encountered after a seasonal semester is opened, only when three fourths or less (earlier) of the number of school days given has passed. In this case, two thirds of the paid tuition fees will be returned.
